CANNAVARO REGRETS LACK OF CONCENTRAION

Cannavaro and Van Nistelrooy regret the lack of concentration that led to the defeat

Two of the stars of Real Madrid, Fabio Cannavaro and Ruud Van Nistelrooy agreed when they pointed out that "the lack of concentration" was the main cause behind the defeat against Celta. "Real Madrid deserved a win," said the Italian Golden Ball hopeful.

CANNAVARO: "THERE WAS ONLY ONE TEAM ON THE PITCH"
"It's hard to explain how we lost. We played well. But we gave away their two goals and that's something that can't happen again."

"We had chances in both halves, but they were the ones that scored. It's a pity because we could have caught up to Barcelona."

"I think we played well, going out to win. Football has these things: if you don't put the ball inside, there's nothing to do. Even the draw would have been a bad result because we had so many chances. There was only one team on the pitch and that was Real Madrid."

"We have to keep our cool because we know we're a great team. We need to keep playing this way but we need to improve our concentration. We knew that Celta was going to be dangerous on the counterattack."

VAN NISTELROOY: "I FEEL COMFORTABLE PLAYING ALONGSIDE RONALDO"
"We wanted to win and we worked hard during the second half to do so, but it wasn't enough. They were more efficient. Now, we need to stay concentrated for Thursday's King's Cup and next weekend's League matches. It's important to win these two encounters."

"I felt great playing with Ronaldo. But it's up to the coach to play us together."
