Fabio Cannavaro tells in La Gazetta dello sport that he leaves Juventus with pain in his heart. The defender plays upcoming season for Real Madrid, because he says he wants to keep playing at the highest level.
"I only left Juventus because of it's current situation. Otherwise I would have never left them. My family was happy in Turin, the club gave us everything we needed and the supporters were fantastic", says the Italian.
Cannavaro also see's a positive side to his department to Spain. "I'm glad that I can stay active at the highest level and I will be playing for a prestigious club. It's an honour to wear the shirt from Real Madrid."
